all respect gone.
Very boldly attacks supreme court saying that distribution of decaying foodgrains is his own decision and nobody can interfere in it.
I was shocked to read this. why not ? Not even a hard hearted dictator would do it. Till date the food grains are decaying.
And, in the same tone, he retards Obama , saying that ''we never steal your jobs, be careful about your policy about outsourcing.'' and he meets ALONE Obama and discusses so many things.
So many had made fun of him as a puppet under Soniaji. But he never seemed to care the least about her during Obama's visit.
And in an interview he says that he acts according to the advice of '' HIS WIFE ''
When he can take decisions on his own on the above said issues, how come he is inactive in 2 G case.
And the most shocking scene is that of his patting ''RAJA '' on his shoulders. When so many were standing there, why particularly he ????
. Mr. Clean, eh ??????
doubts much that he urgently needs a lot of dry cleaning.

some reflections

Many may think that my post often carry a negative criticism. It may seem cynical or wired or what ever it is.
But my intention is that people have to analyse the way ,they behave and should try to change.
மக்கள் நிறைய திருந்த வேண்டும்.
நான் சொல்வதெல்லாம் சரியென்று சொல்லவில்லை. ஆனால் சரியாக இருந்தால் நல்லதே.
காலன் அடையா நோன்பு [ அ ] காரடையான் நோன்பு :
பாதி பேருக்கு ,அதுவும் இந்த நோன்பை நோற்கும் பலருக்கே அதன் உண்மையான பேர் தெரியாது. வழி வழியாக ஒரு புராணக் கதை. அது லாஜிக்கா இல்லையா , எந்த கேள்வியும் கிடையாது.
புராணத்தில் சாவித்திரி என்றொரு '' பத்தினிப் பெண் '' தன கணவனின் உயிரை எடுக்க வந்த எமனோடு பேசி கணவன் உயிரை மீட்டாள் என்பதால், அந்த நாளன்று எல்லோரும் அதே பூஜையை செய்தால், அப்பெண்களின் கணவர்கள் திர்க்காயுசாக இருப்பார்கள் என்பது ஐதிகம்.
கேள்வியே இங்குதான்.
1[சாவித்திரிக்கு பிறகு நாட்டில் வேறு பத்தினி பெண்களே பிறக்கவில்லையா ? காஷ்மீரில், இலங்கையில் , ஏன் நம் நாட்டிலும் எத்தனை பெண்கள் கணவனை பறிகொடுத்துள்ளனர். இந்த பூஜையை செய்த எத்தனையோ பேர் தங்கள் கணவனை இழந்து வாடுவது எனக்கு தெரியும்.அப்படியானால், சாவித்திரி கண்ணுக்கு மட்டும் எமதர்மன் தெரிந்தது எப்படி? பாக்கியராஜ் ஒரு படத்தில் கேட்பார். ''கற்புக்கரசிகள் பேரை கூறு '' என்று. எல்லோரும் ''கண்ணகி, சீதை '' என்று பதில் சொல்வர் .அப்போது அவர் கேட்பார் , ''ஏன் உங்கள் அம்மாவோ, மனைவியோ கற்புடன் இல்லையா, ஏன் அவர்கள் பேரைக் சொல்லவில்லை ? ' என்பார் .அது போலத்தான் இதுவும்.
அதுவும் , நோன்பிருக்கும் பெண்கள் அலட்டிக் கொள்வது இருக்கிறதே !!!
தாய்க் குலமே சற்று மாறு...
2] சாலை மறியல் :
அப்பாடா , தொட்டதற்கெல்லாம் சாலை மறியல். தண்ணீர் வரவில்லையா, ரேஷன் கடையல் சர்க்கரை தரவில்லையா, வீட்டு பாடம் செய்யவில்லைஎன்று ஆசிரியர் திட்டினாரா..... சாலை மறியல்.
அதனால் மற்றவர்கள் எவ்வளவு பாதிக்கப் படுகிறார்கள் என்பதை அவர்கள் நினைக்கிறார்களா?
நானே சென்னையிளுருந்து ஒரு ஊருக்கு போகிறேன். மாலை ஐந்தி மணிக்கு சென்று விடலாம் என்பது என் கணக்கு. ஆனால் நான் போய்க் சேரும்போது மணி பத்து. இருட்டு, தெரியாத ஊர், பசி,தாகம் .
அதுவாவது சரி. எத்தனை பேர் இன்டர்வியுவிற்கு செல்ல வேண்டும் , ,
ஒரு டாக்டர் ஆபரேஷனுக்கு நேரம் குறித்து விட்டு நோயாளிக்கு மயக்க மருந்து கொடுக்க சொல்லிவிட்டு வீட்டிலிருந்து கிளம்புகிறார். வழி அடைபட்டு விட்டது . நோயாளியின் கதி?
அப்படித்தான் சாலை மறியல் செய்தாலும் என்ன நடக்கிறது? யாரோ இரு அதிகாரிகள் வந்து பேசுவர் . அவ்வளவுதான்.
பாதிக்கப் பட்டதென்னவோ மாட்டியவர்கள்தான்.
3]தனியார் பள்ளியும் ...கல்விக் கட்டணமும்:
யாரப்பா இவர்களை தடி கொண்டு அடித்து இந்த பள்ளியில்தான் சேர்க்க வேண்டும் என்று சட்டம் போட்டது ? '' நாங்கள் மிடில் கிளாஸ் , எங்களால் எப்படி பணம் கட்ட முடியும் ? '' ஆஹா , ஏன் அரசு பள்ளிகள் இல்லையா ?
ஒரு பள்ளியை நடத்தி பார்த்தால்தான் தெரியும். முதலிடு , அதன் நிர்வாகம் எல்லாம். லாபம் இல்லாமல் நடத்த யாரும் புத்தர் கிடையாது. அவர்கள் ஒன்றும் அப்படி உறுதி மொழி கொடுக்கவுமில்லை. உன் தகுதிக்கேற்ற பள்ளியில் சேர்த்து விடு உன் குழந்தைகளை. படிக்கும் பிள்ளை எங்கிருந்தாலும் படிக்கும். ஒரு பள்ளியில் படிக்கும் அனைவரும் கலெக்டர், டாக்டர் ஆகி விடுவதில்லை.உன் மகனுக்காக நீ பக்கத்தில் இருந்து கவனிக்கிறாயா? அதை செய்,. சாதாரண பள்ளியலும் உன் மகன் நிறைய மதிப்பெண்கள் பெறுவான்.

என் வலைப் பதிவை படித்தவர் [ இப்படியும் கூட திடீர் திடீர் என யாராவது என் பதிவை படித்தால்தான் உண்டு. ], ,
என்னிடம் சொன்னார். 'உங்களால் இன்னும் சிறப்பாக எழுத முடியும் . ஏன் இப்படி ? '' என்று கேட்டார்.

நான் என்னை பற்றி எழுதவோ அல்லது என் திறமையை வெளிப்படுத்தவோ எழுதுவதில்லை.
கார்த்திக் ஆரம்பித்த வலைப்பதிவு நின்று விடக் கூடாதே என்றுதான் எழுதுகிறேன். அதுவும், அவன் போலவே எழுத வேண்டும் என்று ஆரம்பித்து, முடியாமல் போனதால், என்னுடைய பாணியில் எழுதுகிறேன்.
எத்தனை திறமைகள், எத்தனை சாதனைகள் , [ எல்லோரும் இன்று வலை பதிகிறார்கள் , ...இதெல்லாம் ஒரு சாதனையா என்று கேட்கலாம் ...]எந்த வேலையை, எந்தசூழ்நிலையில், எந்த வயதில் செய்கிறார்கள் என்பதை பொறுத்துதான் அது சாதனையா இல்லையா என்று தீர்மானிக்க வேண்டும்.
அப்படி , வலைப் பதிவு என்பது பற்றியே அதிகம் பேர் அறிந்திராத போது, எழுத ஆரம்பித்தவன் கார்த்திக். 1999 லேயே மார்பிங் செய்தவன் அவன்.
எல்லாம் இப்படியாகி விட்டதே .இன்று காலையில் என்னிடம் பேசிய அவன் கல்லூரி நண்பர் இதைத்தான் கூறினார்.
கார்த்தியின் நினைவாக வேறு எதுவும் செய்யாத கோழையாக, கையாலாகதவளாக இருக்கும் என்னைப் போன்ற ஒரு அம்மாவை பெற்ற கார்த்தி ஒரு பாவி.
அதனால், இந்த வலைப் பதிவை கார்த்தி எழுதுவதாக நினைத்து படித்தால், அவன் அவன் மறைவை ஒரு போலியான நிகழ்வாக நம்மை நாமே ஏமாற்றிக் கொள்ள த்தான் இந்த முயற்சி .

நமது தமிழக முதல்வர் வருத்தப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்.

அதற்கு அவர் சொன்னார். '' தமிழர் வரலாறு பற்றி போதிய ஆவணங்கள் இல்லை '' என்று.
அப்பப்பா, அவரை உண்டு இல்லைஎன்று ஆக்கி விட்டார்கள்.
'எப்படி சொல்லப் போயிற்று , ஆ ,நீ தமீழின துரோகி ,இன்னும் என்ன என்னவோ '
அதுவும் இந்த 'பொன்னியின்செல்வன் ' என்று ஒரு கூட்டம் இருக்கிறதே ...என்னவோ அவர்கள்தான் எல்லாம் அறிந்தவர்கள் போலவும் ...அடேயப்பா ,

அன்று கரகமாடியர்கள் இன்று நம் முதல்வரின் கூற்றுக்கு என்ன பதில் சொல்லப் போகிறார்கள்? திரு .மதன் மிகவும் படித்தவர். அவரை விமர்சனம் செய்ய தகுதி உண்டா என்று யோசித்திருக்க வேண்டும் .
அவர் பெருந்தன்மையாக விட்டு விட்டார். '' இவர்கள் இவ்வளவுதான். இவர்களிடம் ஏன் பேச வேண்டும் ' என்று.

He could have given a simple meals to his fans on her daughter's marriage. Atleast a sweet distributed to everyone.!.And these fools worship him like god.
And the most important point, for the animation part of the film, they hired a U.S company, and gave them a huge amount.They could have used our animation experts which would have given them a bright opening and an unexpectable remuneration.

நிறைய பேர் நிரய்யய்ய்ய எழுதி விட்டார்கள். எனக்கு ஆயிரம் சந்தேகங்கள்.தன் வீட்டு கல்யாணத்திற்கு ரசிகர்களுக்கு ஒரு பொதுவான அழைப்பு கூட தராத ரஜினி , அப்போது கூட்ட நெரிசலாகி விடும் என்று சொன்ன ரஜினி ,இப்போது எப்படி இவ்வளவு கூட்டத்தை அனுமதித்தார்?
தன் வீட்டு கல்யாணத்திற்கு, அந்த அந்த ஊர்களிலேயே ஒரு கல்யாண மண்டபத்தில், தன் ரசிகர்களுக்கு விருந்தளித்திருக்கலாமே ?
அவருடைய ரசிகர்கள் [ வெறியர்கள் ] அதை தன் செலவிலேயே செய்திருப்பார்களே ?
இப்போது பால்குடம் தூக்கலாம் , கட் ஒவுட்டுக்கு பாலாபிசேகம் செய்யலாம்.
தன் அம்மா,குழந்தை பசியில் பாலுக்கு அழுதால் , கவலைப் படாத இந்த ஜன்மங்கள் குடம் குடமாக பாலை வீணாக கொட்டுவதை பார்க்க எரிச்சலாக இருந்தது.

So he was so happy and planning of how to go ,either by train or by bus or by train.

I don't understand the 'welcome' being given.
And as usual, she goes by a private plane.
Instead she can directly land down at Kodanadu with her own runway.
She will stay there for 40 days there and will discharge her political duties !!!!!
why? what's wrong with chennai?

She was given a throne to sit in front of the god.
Will the arccahars [the one who does the pujas] allow any one else to sit like that ?
And i read in a newspaper clipping which says that instructions from the high command had been given to give her what ever she asks..
Yet she will be degrading them with indecent words.

August 26 ..2005

It started as yet another normal day. The previous night Karthik had asked me to wake up at 7.30 a.m.
We were { i and Karthik ] in our B'lore house.
Singing happily, ' chellame , chellam, en chellam ' i woke him with a cup of coffee.
Least bit guessing, that he will be with me for just 1&1/2 hours more we were chatting, i was singing ,had breakfast and he left at 8.50 a.m.
LEFT for ever.
just in 15 minutes i got a call, informing about his accident.

over, over, everything is over.

Third innings. So was the media , most of the English channels were so excitedly proclaiming.Both the bride and the groom entered into wedlock .The witnesses are " my son" and "your son".And the great Indian "HINDU CULTURE " started glowing with a new halo.
Best wishes to the newly wedded couple.
But if the same act had been by a youth, how much would have the guardians of HINDU CULTURE shouted and would have beaten them brutally.
Hats off to them.

. 2005 ...August. 22..
karthik, i, senthil were at "" Karur "" attending karthik's friend's wedding.
How happy i was ! ஆல் ஹிஸ் பிரிஎண்ட்ஸ் அவனுடைய நண்பர்கள் அவனை கலாய்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தனர். எந்த மாதிரி மணமேடை, மணமாலை, உணவு என்று ஒரே ஆர்பாட்டம். இன்னும் மூன்று நாட்கள்தான் என்று யார்தான் ஒரு கணமேனும் நினைத்தோமா ? எல்லாம் முடிந்து விட்டது.

இந்த 'மதராச பட்டினம்' படம் எனக்கு ஒரு பழைய நினைவை கொண்டு வந்தது.
1981ம வருடம். திருமணமாகி புதுக் குடித்தனம். தனிக் குடித்தனம் வேறு. பக்கத்து வீட்டு பெண் தன ஆறு வயது மகளை என் வீட்டில் கொண்டு வந்து விட்டு , பாடம் சொல்லிக் கொடுக்க சொல்வார்கள் .அந்த சிறுமியும் அ ஆ , இ ,ஈ ...என சொல்லிக் கொண்டே வந்து ஐ , ஐஐ ....என்றதே பார்க்கலாம்.
எனக்கு தலை சுற்றாத குறைதான்.
இந்த படத்தில் A, AA, B, BB என்கிறார்களே. சும்மா சொல்லக்கூடாது. ஆர்யாவும் சரி, அவர் நண்பர்களும் சரி. முக பாவனை அற்புதம். எங்கோ , எப்போதோ நிஜமாக நடப்பது சினிமாவில் வரும்போது சிறப்பான நகை சுவையாகி விடுகிறது.

As I have already mentioned i have very little knowledge about cinemas.Rarely do I watch movies.
But the movie ' madharasa pattinam' impressed me much.
No, don't guess hurriedly.
I did not go to a theater ,or no vcd. The ads have given almost the whole story.
That girl Emi is really cute and almost all aspects seem to be perfect and I hope this movie is a very decent one and classic.
Some movies are given skyhigh hype and they fail horribly.
But this movie, without any such mega, mega ,has proved to be a success.
A positive trend and hope it continues.

ஆயாசம் என்ற ஒரு சொல் haunts me completely. I feel totally dejected even to write this post.
SURPRISINGLY, i got a book in a library which ,, you could have easily guessed ,, a history book.
Because Karthik was interested in HISTORY ,now a days I read such books only.
My grandfather used to tell me that we are Chola descendents.
Karthik read soooo many books to find out who we are actually, and his guess was that we are
VIJAYANAGARA NAICKERS.
and the book I read told about a ''ceppedu'' [தாமிர பட்டயம் ] which was issued by the ruler of '' Malliakundham '' [ salem district] .in 1913.
எனக்கு தூக்கி வாரி போட்டது. ஏனென்றால் அதுதான் என் தந்தையின் ஊர் .என் தந்தை பிறந்தது 1933. அப்படிஎன்றால் அந்த பட்டயம் அளித்தது என தாத்தா .
I was so excited and immediately I contacted the author. and wanted to know the complete details. He asked me to come in person so that we could have a detailed discussion.
அன்று முழுவதும் என மனம் துடித்த துடிப்பு.
''கார்த்திம்மா, வா, நீ கேட்ட விவரங்கள். நான் கண்டு பிடித்து விட்டேன். நீ வந்து மீதி ஆராய்ச்சிகளை செய் ''
என்று அவனிடம் சொல்ல வேண்டும் என்று நான் பட்ட பாடு.
I would meet the author and would try to write a book.
But will it reach karthik? will he read it ?

சென்னையிலிருந்து மூட்டை முடிச்சுகளை கட்டிக் கொண்டு பெங்களுரு வந்து சேர்ந்து விட்டேன்.
கார்த்தி மகன் " வந்து விடுங்கள் " என்று சொன்ன ஒரே வார்த்தைதான் .
மகனுடன் நூறாண்டு சந்தோஷமாக வாழப் போகிறேன் என்று நினைத்துக் கொண்டு வந்து விட்டேன். I applied for a transfer , and came to B'lore , just because Karthik wanted me to be here with him. Never cared for anything else.
மனதில் ஏதோ ஒரு கிலேசம் இருந்தது. புது ஊர் . வேலை மாறுதல் கிடைக்கவில்லைஎன்றால் என்ன செய்வது? என்று பல எண்ணங்கள் மனதில் சுழன்றாலும் கார்த்தியுடன் இருக்கப் போகிறேன் என்ற மகிழ்ச்சி மேலோங்கி இருந்தது.
அல்ப நாட்கள்தான் . மீண்டும் சென்னைதான் என்று தெரியவில்லை. சென்னையோ , பெங்கள்ரூவோ , சஹாராவோ ,எந்த இடமும் எனக்கு ஒன்றேதான். கார்த்தி அருகிலிருந்தால்.
ஏன் இப்படி நடந்தது ? எங்கே என் கார்த்தி மகன் ? வா, கார்த்தி வா. உனக்காக , உன் வீட்டில் , நீ வருவாய் என்ற நம்பிக்கையுடன் கதவை பார்த்து உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறேன். வா, கார்த்தி வா. வந்து விடு. வந்து விடு.

அம்மா [ அடடா ,மன்னிக்கவும் ..அப்பா தெய்வமே ] பிச்சை போடுங்க சாமி. ஒரு எம்.பி சீட் பிச்சை போடுங்க சாமி.
கட்சி ஆரம்பிக்கும்போது " எனக்கோ , என் குடும்பத்தில் யாருக்குமே பதவி ஆசை இல்லை என்று சொன்னதெல்லாம் இப்போ ஞாபகப்படுத்தணுமா ..அதையெல்லாம் அப்பப்பவே மறந்திடணும். ஆமாம் ,சொல்லிட்டேன்.
அப்புறம் இன்னொன்னும் சொல்றேன் . எப்படியாவது சீட் வாங்கி விட்டால், அடுத்த தேர்தலுக்கு இவர்களோடுதான் கூட்டணி வைப்பேன் என்று நம்பி விடாதிர்கள். சகோதரியுடனும் வைப்பேன்.
நான் என்ன வேண்டுமானாலும் செய்வேன் . அடுத்து என் மகளுக்கு சீட் கேட்பேன்.
தருபவருடன்தான் கூட்டணி. ஹஹா.
ஹையா, ஹிஹி.

I am sorry.Extremely sorry.
I withdraw my ststement declared in an earlier post where I loudly proclaimed that
no incidents and accidents disturb me in anyway.
I have become a buffalo like , I said.
But, a big " NO "
Senthil's friend met with an accident and became ' no more '. And that night I could not sleep
at all.
And this plane accident....Unknowingly, tears were rolling down.
Still, I am not becoming normal.
And now I realise that I have miscalculated and misjudged myself. Still Iam the same old kalavathy with the kindest heart.

i was shocked to here this dialogue.
already i have a doubt in karthik's accident. And these words made me chill.
And, My emptiness becomes all the more worse.

already in a post I have told you about Senthil's Tamil proficiency. And here's another example.
இப்போதுதான் காலாவதி மருந்து பற்றி தான் எங்கும் பேச்சு. தமிழ் தொலைக் காட்சிகள் இதையே திரும்ப திரும்ப ஒளிபரப்பிக் கொண்டிருந்தன.
செந்திலும் இதைப் பார்த்து சற்று குழம்பியது போல் தோன்றியது எனக்கு.
இரண்டு நாட்கள் கழித்து அவன் கேட்டான் .
""ஏன் எல்லோரும் காலாவதி என்று தவறாகவே எழுதுகிறார்கள் ?""
ஒன்றும் புரியவில்லையா ?
என் பெயர் ' கலாவதி' யை ""காலாவதி "' என்று ஒரு முறை தவறாக எழுதியிருந்தான். நான் விகடமாக என்னை காலாவதியாக்கி விட்டாய் என்றேன். அது அவனுக்கு புரியவில்லை என்று எனக்கு அப்போது தெரியவில்லை.
இப்போதுதான் புரிந்தது ,,காலாவதி என்று ஒரு வார்த்தை இருப்பதே அவனுக்கு தெரியவில்லை என்று. ஆஹா ,எல்லோரும் நம்மைப் போலவே எழுத்துப் பிழை செய்கிறார்கள் என்று நினைத்துக் கொண்டு தான் கேட்டான். then I explained to him that they were two different words with different meaning .
And the cool guy cooly said '' I am far far better than many. Many don't know as much as I know .I am an original Thamizhan [ பச்சை தமிழன் ]

1800 crores &1500 Kg gold

INCREDIBLE.
I asked all my friends and the IT guys and many more , the same question.
"what will be your reaction if you see 1800 crores of hot cash and 1500 kg of gold in one place."
The unanimous reply was that "" I WOULD FAINT "'

just can't imagine. at least for my part it's beyond my brain.
Yes. I am talking about the ''Desai'' who amassed so much in his house.
And we the 'proud? ' owners of India cannot even have 1500 kg of rice.
If you offer a common man 1500 kg of rice or wheat as gift he would faint.
This is a simple calculation.
8 adults can have stomach ful of food with one kg rice. That means, per 1500 kg rice, 12000 people can have a filling meal.How happy will the farmers be , if they see so much rice harvested in their field , and do they need to commit suicide due to poverty and lack of food?
Can any software or anybody for that matter think of buying such an amount of grain ? Not even for a grand marriage.
and who said India is a poor country ?
Here I recall someone saying

இப்படியும் மனிதர்கள்

பழைய கதை. [ சிறிது பழம்பெருமையோ ].
என் அப்பா சிறுவனாக இருந்த போது, என் தாத்தாவின் குதிரையில் ஏறி ஓட்ட
[ அப்போதெல்லாம் கார் கிடையாது. ] முயற்சி செய்துள்ளார். என்னதான் இருந்தாலும், ஓட்ட தெரியாமல், குதிரையை மிரட்டினால் ?
பாவம் அந்த குதிரை.
என் தந்தை கீழே விழுந்து காயம் ஆகிவிட்டது.
யாருடைய தவறு ? யாரை தண்டிக்க வேண்டும் ?
தவ்று என் அப்பாவுடையது. ஆனால் என் தாத்தாவோ ,குதிரையை அடித்ததோடல்லாமல், தன்னிடமிருந்த அனைத்து குதிரைகளையும் விற்று விட்டு, அன்றிலிருந்து தானும் குதிரை ஏறுவதை விட்டு விட்டார்.
இவர் இப்படியா.
அடுத்து அம்மா தாத்தாவிற்கு வருவோம்.
என் அம்மா சிறு பெண்ணாக இருந்தபோது, அவர் தோட்டத்தில் ஓரு பழ மரம் இருந்திருக்கிறது. யாரோ அதில் ஏறி பழம் பறிக்க [ திருட ] முயற்சித்திருக்கின்றனர். என் அம்மா " யாரடா அது பழம் பறிப்பது " என்று உரத்த குரலில் கத்தியிருக்கிறார்.
என் தாத்தா கையில் ஓரு கொடுவாளை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு வேக வேகமாக வந்திருக்கிறார். என் அம்மா நடுங்கிவிட்டாராம் . தன்னைத்தான் வெட்ட வருகிறார் என்று. வேகமாக வந்த என் தாத்தா அந்த பழ மரத்தை வெட்டி சாய்த்து விட்டு வந்து என் அம்மாவிடம் சொன்னாராம் " ஓரு பெண் இவ்வளவு சத்தம் போட வைக்கும் இந்த மரம் என்றால் அப்படியொரு மரமே தேவையில்லை. "
எப்படி அந்த கால மனிதர்கள் என்று இன்றும் நான் வியப்பதுண்டு.

எந்த கோரிக்கையாயிருந்தாலும் நிறைவேற்றுகிறார்.
ஞானி ஒரு முறை எழுதியிருந்தார். " கலைஞருக்கு வயதாகிவிட்டது.
அவர் அரசியலை விட்டு விலகி வீட்டுக்கு செல்லட்டும் "

Simply Amazing..!!!

தாய் எட்டடி பாய்ந்தால் குட்டி பதினாறடி பாய்ந்தது.When i was a student I used to participate in all competitions .
I was the school pupil leader.
Sports Leader.
Scouts Leader.
The Prime minister [ in 1974 itself in our school we had parliamentary election , and the Cabinet ministers used to function and I was the Elected P.M..]
I got school first and karthik too.
I and karthik had similar talents.
புலிக்கு பிறந்தது பூனையாகவில்லை.
ஆனால் இந்த புலிக்குட்டி வளர்ந்து கம்பீரமாக நின்றபோது அந்த புலியரசன் அருகில் நான் பூனையாகிவிட்டேன்.
கார்த்திக் அடிக்கடி என்னை ' குட்டிஅம்மா '' என்று கொஞ்சுவான். அவன் ஆறடி உயரம் . நான் ஐந்தடி.
அது போல்தான் அந்த மலையருகில் நான் ஒரு சிறு குன்றாகிப் போனேன் .
இதைக் சொல்வதில்தான் எத்தனை பெருமை.
ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் அவன் பரிசுகளாக வாங்கி வந்து என் காலடியில் கொட்டிய போது எத்தனை பெருமை !
இதை அனுபவித்தால்தான் புரியும்.
" பெருமை " என்ற காட்டாற்று வெள்ளத்தில் என்னை நீராட்டினான். நான் திக்கு முக்காடினேன்.
அதனால்தானோ என்னவோ, தொடர்கதையாக வேண்டியது சிறுகதையாக முடிந்ததோ?

Deemed Universities and Students

Our Govt has decided to take strict actions against the erring Deemed Universities [ they can most appropriately be called univer CITIES] .
The GREAT student community has started exhibiting their multi faceted original caliber .All were shouting,
saying , "They have collected a huge amount as capitation fee ".
Did the colleges force them to pay such amount?
This is our fees. If you are willing you can join .....that's their stand.
Did they ever kidnap you and forced you, or threatened you to pay.
The parents go running even when their wards are in +1 and book a seat.

And the next accusation is that there are no sufficient staff and other lab and such facilities.
During May and June all channels have live programs where they repeatedly advise 'to go to the institutions and find out about all these things, before deciding to join.'
As if every one has scored 1150, and even after getting that, as if Govt has refused to give them a free seat.
They get such 'High ' marks !! And how easily they blame the Govt? Did Govt ever give them any assurance, or did these students ever get guidance from any authority?
Because of so many mushrooming colleges do these unfit get seats.
Had the scenario been like what it was in 80s with a handful of colleges ,where would these intellectuals have landed?
And the worst part of their demonstration went to the extent of threatening Govt and the society saying that " don't drive us to become terrorists" ....but already HE was looking like that only.
If they have guts, let them write the All India Common Entrance Exam and get qualified to get a seat in a college they want.

I wanted to write a lot, either it's laziness or disinterested....somehow, I have kept idle.
And, many have switched over to Twitter and Face book, which I don't want to do,
because the main reason to continue this blog is to make Karthik immortal [at least a few will
read this and remember him for a minute at least.]
I wanted to continue in his style but my style has crept in.
நானும் எருமையும்:
ஒரு லாரியில் ஒரு 20 எருமைகள் அடைத்து கேரளாவிற்கு கொண்டு செல்வதை எல்லோரும் பார்த்திருப்போம்.
அந்த எருமைகள் பசி, தாகம், தூக்கம் என்று எந்த உணர்வுமில்லாமல், தன அருகிலிருக்கும் தன இன எருமையைப் பற்றி எந்த அனுதாப ,அன்பு உணர்வோ எதுவுமில்லாமல் விரக்தியாய் நின்று கொண்டிருக்கும்.
விஷயம் என்னவென்றால், இப்போது நானும் அப்படித்தான் ஆகி விட்டேனோ என்று எனக்கு தோன்றுகிறது. மற்றவர்களுடைய இன்பமோ, துன்பமோ, மகிழ்ச்சியோ, ஆர்ப்பாட்டமோ, ஆரவாரமோ, எதுவுமே என்னில் எந்த பாதிப்பையுமே ஏற்படுத்தவில்லை. As it happens, so it happens. Something is happening. O, YES, IT'S HAPPENING. Somebody is laughing, oh, let them laugh. Somebody is crying, oh, they r crying. I have hardened more than a rock.
Simply doing cooking, etc. Waiting for the days to fly by.
