the chappathi made in jp nagar house:
i was very enthu to try some cooking during the initial days in
bangalore. once i had cooked chapathi, and thats when SK came to the
house. (usually SK comes to home by 9:00 pm from office, but usually
have food outside). SK told some issue with his tenant and we had to go
that night and talk to the tenant. so i stepped with him, but didnt
have the food, thought of having it when we come back. by the time we
came back, chapathi had become appalam. I had kept them on tawa,
thinking it would be warm. we busted out laughing seeinfg the output..
and my friends marked me appalam specialist there on. And SK had good
reasons not to try cooking, we went out for dinner Pai comforts.
first s/w programming contest in annamalai university:
i got to interact with him more during the 4th sem. he is the
first one from our batch to attend technical symposiums, and the first
time we went together. he had some software for presenting, and i
wanted to do some coding competitions. he surprised me by grabbing a
prize in the competition. to be frank, he broke all of the impression i
had over him (could have been just another guindian at CEG). thereon, i
started admiring his talents; indeed he was; non-stop cracking
contests in full streak.
moham ennum theeyil:
he was good at remembering lyrics, of tamil songs in
particular. when we were at the final year tour, he sang the whole song
from sindhu bhairavi. everyone chorused with him, and lighted the
whole crowd in the bus, when everyone was about to getting sleep.
Carrom over net:
i think he should be one of the firsts to develop carrom game
over internet. it was very impressive when he explained to me how he
has coded the logic of transmitting the coin movements from one system
to another. hardly anyone from our batch had tried doing things over
net, those days! he was really multiple steps ahead in creativity and
innovations!
US trip:
he was the first one to visit US after we joined our offices.
that was the time, i had introduced one of my friends to him. and my
friend was got impressed, when SK didnt try to be miser on his
expenses, or saving dollars. such is his attitude. enjoy the life and
dont be money minded. and that friend tells me about this, whenever we
talk about SK. and we have not found any of our other friends to be
like this! // .. //
