There's one ad about Eno .It goes like this. A family is getting ready for picnic.Grand parents, sitthappa,[father's younger brother] ,mom and this girl's younger brother are ready.This girl goes to her father's room, where her mother is dressing and she asks,"papa are you ready" and he replies " no,I have a stomach ache. "
Immediately that girl,[ daughter ] asks " picnic cancelled".She is much worried .
Father says , "no,I will stay back. you all go and enjoy."
His wife stands there watching this with a worried face [ not about her husband's sickness} .

She is much relieved to hear husband saying that he will stay back.THE WHOLE FAMILY LEAVES HAPPILY .
Whither goes the family values !!
Will not they take care of him ! At least the mother or the father or the WIFE !!
How come they can leave him like that !
My suggestion :

The ad can be like this. His wife or mom shall give him the same syrup and see him relieved of the pain in 6 sec , and all of them starting for the trip. How happy it will be!

what a CLASS ?
Great!!!!
At least 90 % of the Indians would not have seen a plane .They would look up to the sky and used to wonder at the magic of flying in the sky.
And a central minister says flying by economy class is cattle class.

Getting food for survival is the major problem to at least 40 % of Indians.
Does this minister know anything about it?
Theoretical data only? It's just nothing to do with him? Has he ever thought of the hunger and pain that our poor people experience daily? How much do they suffer. without enough food, clothing, shelter--be it rain, or scorching sun,or biting cold....most of the times the mother's torn Saree becoming the ineffective cover to protect her children from the biting cold !Is he aware of such things?
We have no rights to question Anil Ambani or Tata or any citizen for that matter.
Then why does it provoke us now ?
its because he is a Minister who has to work for the nation and its people.
What would he say if he sees a Chennaite traveling in the town bus : at least 100 people in a bus all sweating and standing in half centimeter space.

Accidentally I happened to see a sixty year old lady lifting weight and doing all gym exercises with so sweet a smiling [ laughing face ] in NDTV- CHENNAI.
What impressed me more was not her age alone, but the following news that she has lost her dearest son 2 years ago.
He had been just like Karthik. And what she told was , exactly like what I and Karthik were.
She told that her son used to admire her ' kolams ', her cooking, and all her skills and used to say that his mom is the best in the world.
Karthik was the same.. To him nobody else in the world is greater than his mom, 'sweet MOM '.

BUT THAT LADY HAD COME OUT OF THE GLOOM ,and she has achieved so many things, including winning a medal in a running race.Seeing that I felt sad for sometime for not having done anything usefully, but simply brooding over and crying for the maximum time.
But the very next day , I saw JOHN TRAVOLTO [correct spelling?] ,who has lost his son six months back, is roaming like a mad man, driving the cart in which he used to take his son. He is half mad as I am.
seeing this clip, i justified myself saying parents differ. some can overcome [be it a man or woman ] and some will be plunging further deep into the sad ocean.
Time only can justify.

ஒரு எண்ண ஓட்டம்:
நல்ல வெய்யிலில் நின்று கொண்டிருக்கும் போது அதை விட பெரிய கஷ்டம் எதுவும் இல்லை என்று தோன்றும். ஆனால், நிழலுக்கு வந்தவுடன் அந்த கஷ்டம், மறைந்தும் விடுகிறது.மறந்தும் விடுகிறது.
ஒரு வயிற்று வலி வரும்போதும் அப்படித்தான். ஆனால், அந்த வலி முடிந்தவுடன்,, அதன் கொடுமையை மறந்து விடுகிறோம்

I am not an expert or anything of that sort.
I seriously doubt whether I am ''eligible '' to write anything at all.
I am an innocent, IGNORANT , infant.
But it needs a child to tell that '' the king is naked ''.

ஜெயித்தால் மக்கள் தன் தலைமையை தலை வணங்கி ஏற்றுக் கொண்டார்கள் என்கிறார். தோற்று விட்டாலோ '''பணம் விளையாடி விட்டது. ரவுடித்தனம் ஜெயித்து விட்டது '' என்கிறார்.
பணம் விளையாடியது என்பது உண்மையானால், அழகிரி 3 லட்சம் வாக்குகள்
வித்தியாசத்தில் ஜெயித்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
இரண்டாவதாக,
அவர் வழி அராஜகம் , அவர் எல்லோரையும் மிரட்டுபவர் என்பதாக ஒரு பிரச்சாரம் நடந்தது. அப்படி என்றால் அவருக்கு எதிரான வேட்பாளர் கிட்டத்தட்ட 3 லட்சம் வாக்குகள் பெற்றுள்ளார்.
அப்படியானால், அந்த 3 லட்சம் மக்களுக்கு அழகிரியிடம் பயம் இல்லையா ? அல்லது அந்த 3 லட்சம் பேருக்கு அண்ணன் பணம் தரவில்லையா ?
எந்த பட்டனை அழுத்தினாலும் தி.மு.க விற்கே லைட் எரிந்தது என்றாரே ஜெ.
அப்படியாயின், எப்படி இந்த 3 லட்சம் பேர் அழுத்திய போது எப்படி அந்த கட்சியின் லைட் எரிந்தது?
நான் ஒரு நடுநிலையாளர்.எல்லோருடைய பிரச்சாரத்தையும் தொடர்ந்து பார்த்து வந்தேன் என்பதால் சொல்கிறேன். திரு.அழகிரியின் அணுகுமுறை மக்களை அடைந்தது. அவர் சொல்லியதெல்லாம் ''நான் மதுரையை மேம்படுத்துவேன்'' என்பது மட்டுமே. அதில் ஒரு உறுதி தெரிந்தது.
ஆனால், ஜெ, தான் சென்ற இடத்தில் எல்லாம் மைனாரிடி அரசு என்ற புராணமே பாடினார். 5 வருடத்திற்கு ஒரு முறை மேடை ஏறி விட்டால் மக்கள் மயங்கி விடுவார்கள் என்ற அவருடைய எண்ணம் மாற வேண்டும்.யாருமே அவரை எளிதில் பார்க்க முடியும் என்ற சூழ்நிலை உருவாகவேண்டும்.
தன் தோல்விக்கு என்ன காரணம் என்பதை ஆராய முனைய வேண்டும். தனக்கு வாக்களித்தவர்களுக்கு என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும் என்பதை யோசிக்க வேண்டும்.மறுபடியும் கொடநாடு, படகு, ஆங்கில நாவல்கள் ,அருமைதோழி என்று அங்கு போய் உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டு, தன் பெயரில் யாரோ எழுதி, யாரோ வாசிக்கும், அறிக்கைகள் மட்டுமே உதவும் என்ற அணுகுமுறையும் மாறவேண்டும்.

இது எதோ வன்னியர்களை இந்த நாட்டின் அரசர்களாக மாற்றுவதற்காகவே உருவாக்கப் பட்ட கட்சி என்ற எண்ணம் பரவலாக உள்ளது.உண்மை என்னவென்றால், இந்த கட்சியால், எத்தனை வன்னியர்கள் என்ன நன்மை அடைந்திருக்கிறார்கள்? எத்தனை பேர் தொழில் அதிபர்கள் ஆகியுள்ளனர்? அதற்கு கட்சி எவ்வளவு உதவிஉள்ளது ? எத்தனை வன்னியர்கள் நினைத்த நேரத்தில் போய் மருத்துவரை நேரில் சந்திக்க முடியும்? எவ்வள்வு வன்னிய இளைஞர்கள் அவரால் உதவி பெற்றுள்ளார்கள்?
மக்கள் நிறைய படிக்கிறார்கள். நிறைய தொலைக் காட்சி செய்திகள் அனைத்து விஷயங்களையும் வெளிச்சத்திற்கு கொண்டு வருகின்றன. 20 வருடத்திற்கு முந்தைய வாக்காளர்கள் மாறி விட்டார்கள்.
எனவே அரசியல்வாதிகளே மாறுங்கள்.

And I went there and sat for some hours ,which I should not have done at all.
This stall was the center of attraction.
Senthil and his friends were giving all details about it.
A young guy came to me and asked about it. I explained and he listened patiently.
Then he asked me , "shall I take a photo? "
I was so magnanimous and said " what's there son? you can take as many photos as you like. "
After he left Senthil's friends " ஐயோ , சொதப்பிட்டிங்களே ஆண்ட்டி , இவர் யார் தெரியுமா ? அவர் கிட்ட போய் பேர் கேட்டு , !!!!" என்று புலம்பித் தள்ளி விட்டனர்

See. Not only that. Idid the same foolishness with the most famous director and his name is

என்னடா இப்படி ஒரு கேள்வி என்று ஆச்சரியமா?
முதலில் கற்பு என்ற வார்த்தையை வரையறுத்தலே கடினமான
விஷயம்.
உடலளவில் கற்பு என்பது ஒரு பெண்ணின் மீது கணவனைத் தவிர பிற
ஆடவனின் விரல் நுனி கூட படக் கூடாது என்ற கணக்கின் படி பார்த்தால் ????
பஸ்ஸில் அல்ல, கல்லூரியில் அல்ல, திருமணமான பின், தாயான பின், ஒரு குடும்ப , திருமண நிகழ்ச்சியில் என்று தெரிந்தோ, தெரியாமலோ, வேண்டுமென்றோ உரசுபவர்கள் எத்தனை பேர் ?
இந்த கணக்கின் படி பார்த்தால் நான் கற்புக்கரசி அல்ல.

இந்த முயல் எந்த ஆமையுடனும் போட்டியிடவில்லை , ஏனென்றால் இந்த முயலுக்கு யாரிடத்தும் பொறாமை [ ஆமை ] இல்லை. ஆனாலும் முயலுக்கே
உரிய குணத்தால் வேக வேகமாக ஓடி அதன் தகுதிக்கேற்ற சாதனைகளை செய்தது.
கதையில் வரும் முயல் போல் இந்த முயல் சோர்ந்து போய் தூங்கி விடவில்லை.
தொடர்ந்து ஓடிக் கொண்டேயிருந்திருக்கும். ஆனால், அது ஓடும் வழியில் ஒரு பெரிய பள்ளம் இருந்து அதில் அந்த முயல் விழுந்து விட்டது.
எழுந்திருக்க விரும்பாமல் , உணவு, உறக்கம், உறவு எதுவுமே வேண்டாம் என்று பள்ளத்திலேயே விரக்தியுடன் இருக்கிறது.
ஏன் தெரியுமா ?
தான் ஈன்ற தன் அருமைக் குட்டி முயல் தாய் முயலை விட அதிக வேகத்தில் ஓடிக் கொண்டிருந்ததை கண்ட அந்த தாய் முயல் பெருமிதத்துடன் பூரிப்படைந்தது.
தாயை விட அதிய வேகமாக ஓடிய குட்டி முயல் தாய் விழுந்த பள்ளத்தை விட ஆழமான அதல பாதாளத்தில் விழுந்து போயே போய் விட்டது.
இனி என்ன ஓட்டம் வேண்டியிருக்கிறது ? தாய் முயல் தவித்து தடுமாறிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

From days known I am repeatedly stressing the point that traditional Indian Education system is the best.
But there has been a lot of hue and cry that our system could " manufacture clerks only."
Sir.C.V.Raman, Our dear Abdhul Kalam, Chandrayan Heroes Madhavan Nair, Annadurai all studied in this system only.
But, the ' everything great U.S mania " people have introduced a lot of changes such as AOL and ABL system. Now when the great great Obama who is believed to do miracles has said that

..... " "US President Barack Obama urged Americans to raise their standards of education as they have to compete with the students of India and China.

Addressing a town hall meeting at Costa Mesa in California on Wednesday, Mr Obama emphasised on the need to raise the standards of education and put more efforts in education, which he had been stressing upon since his election campaign days. “It can’t just be a single high-stakes standardised test — but we do need to have strong, powerful measures of performance, because schools are like anything else,” Mr Obama said.

“We can’t afford our kids to be mediocre at a time when they’re competing against kids in China and India who are actually in school about a month longer than our kids,” he said. “So there’s a whole bunch of reforms that we’re going to have to do,” he added. He said that this is not the job of teachers alone and parents too have an important role to play in this regard.

“You can’t put the entire burden on a teacher. If you’re not making sure your child does their homework, if you’re not reading to them, instilling a sense of excellence and a thirst for knowledge in them, then they’re not going to do very well, no matter how good your te-acher is,” he said " "

Some top officials go to foreign countries at Govt cost and after returning start implementing "all that they have seen [ the pity is that they do not learn and analyse the system ] , (they just see ) and try to implement new methods , without analyzing whether it would suit our culture and climate.
One of the top official in TN education once went to Australia , where due to Ozone depletion problem, the classes start at 8 a.m and close at 3 p.m.
This officer ordered that all schools in TN should start at 8.30 a.m. What a lot of mess. As i worked in a Govt school, I can tell you how much inconvenience it caused to our students who belonged mostly to families below poverty line. How many of them came to school without food? when asked they replied, " Mm, do we have gas stove at home? our mom struggle a lot to cook food. And we have to come out of home by 7.30 to catch a bus or walk 30 minutes to reach school. If that's the situation can we think of breakfast? "
I was almost in tears.
Even an ordinary pen from U.S is a heavenly blessing to us. After reading what Obama has said, I hope now atleast our people would come out of the MAYA that everything is great in U.s and the " cheap Indian " concept.
Wake up.
Learn to respect our culture and tradition and our ancestral systems.

நிறைய நாட்களாகி விட்டது வலை எழுதி.
மனம் மிக மிக சோர்ந்து உள்ளது. கார்த்தியை பற்றி எழுத மட்டுமே கை வருகிறது. பலவந்தமாக , மனதை கட்டுப் படுத்தி ,வேறு விஷயங்களை பற்றி எழுதுவேன்.
ஆனால் இன்று,
வசந்த் டி.வி யில் '' திக்கற்ற தேவதைகள் '' என்ற நிகழ்ச்சி பார்க்க நேர்ந்தது.
மனம் கலங்கி விட்டது. அப்பப்பா , வலியும் வேதனையும் அதை அனுபவிப்பவர்கள் மட்டுமே அறிவர்.
திருநங்கை ஷிலா சொன்னார்.'' எங்கள் பிரச்சினைகளுக்கு ஒரு நல்ல தீர்வு
''கல்வி'' தான் என்று சொன்னார். அப்போது எனக்கு ஒரு யோசனை மனதில் பட்டது.

ஏன் திருநங்கைகளாக மாறும் பாலகர்களுக்கு என்று தனியாக ஒரு ஸ்பெஷல்
பள்ளி ஆரம்பிக்கக் கூடாது? அரசாங்கம் இதை செய்யலாம். அதற்கு தேவையான உதவிகள் செய்ய என் போன்றோர் தயாராகவே உள்ளோம்.

ஜீவனின் பின்னூட்டம் பற்றி ஒரு குறிப்பு . அந்த திரு நங்கை கூறினார்." மற்ற மாணவர்கள் கேலியும் கிண்டலும் , புறக்கணிப்பின் காரணமாகவே தான் பள்ளிப் படிப்பை பாதியில் விட நேர்ந்தது " என்று. அதனால்தான், என் மனதுக்கு பட்டது இவர்களுக்கு என்று ஒரு தனி பள்ளி இருந்தால் இந்த மன உளைச்சல்கள் இல்லாமல் படிப்பை இடையில் நிறுத்தாமல் படித்து வேலை தேடிக் கொள்வார்கள் அல்லவா?
மற்றபடி என் அன்பு ஜீவனின் கருத்துக்கு என் முழு ஆதரவு உண்டு.

when I was a college student we Girlcotted [ why should it be a boycott ? ] our classes for Tamil Elam cause.
Almost 30 years, and still it continues. Even if they get any land of their own, I guess that only Prabakaran and his family will be there to enjoy the whole land, as all other civilians would have been killed by that time.

This reminds me one thing which I want to tell you if you don't beat me.
When I was a studying in college our class room was positioned in such a way that we can see anyone entering the gate [ though there was 5 minutes walk distance. ]. When ever there is a rumor about any strike we will be sitting on tenterhooks waiting for the Students' association Presidents to come and meet our Principal and demand a holiday. Then only she will declare a holiday. So all our eyes will be waiting for them.
On the first glimpse one of our friends will say ''O. S'' [O.Yes].From then all will start the chorus
O.yes Mm. Our prof would be thrilled to get such an enormous response to her teaching.
But the actual story is
[O.S means 'opposite sex ], that means the boys have come and any minute a holiday will be declared.How is it?
College days are 'college days.!!!1

இதற்கு முதல் பதிவில்தான் தெரியாத்தனமாக அவரை புகழ்ந்து விட்டேன்.
அதற்காக இப்படியா கவிழ்ப்பார்?
எல்லாம் இந்த இலங்கை விவகாரம்தான்.

நம் தமிழ் மக்களுக்கு பாதுகாப்பு வேண்டும். அவர்களுக்கு சட்ட சபையில் உரிய
பிரதிநித்துவமும், அமைச்சரவையிலும் இடம் அளிக்க வேண்டும். போன்ற உரிமைகளை பேசி பெறலாமே.
அதை விட்டு 'யார் எக்கேடு கேட்டால் என்ன? என் கொட நாடு உண்டு. தோழி உண்டு. படகு சவாரி உண்டு.ரோஜா தோட்டம் உண்டு.' என்பது சரியல்ல.

போகி பண்டிகையின் தத்துவம் :
முதல்வர் ஆணையால் பொங்கல் புது பொலிவு பெற்று ஜொலிக்கிறது.
ஆனால்,
ஆளாளுக்கொரு விளக்கம். ஒரொரு டி .வியிலும் , பத்திரிக்கைகளிலும் ஒரொரு விளக்கம்.
நான் ஒரு விவசாயி என்ற முறையில் சொல்லும் விளக்கம் இது.
நான் சிறுமியாக இருந்த பொது என் தாத்தா வீடுகளில் ''குதிர், சேர் '' என்ற ஒரு வீடு போன்ற தானிய கிடங்கு இருக்கும். சுமார் ௨0 அடி ஆழமும் ௨0 அடி அகலமும் உள்ள அந்த கிடங்கு நான்கு அறைகளாக பிரிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்..
இந்த தை மாதத்தில் [ மார்கழி மாதம் முழுவதும் அறுவடை வேலை தலை நிமிர முடியாத அளவுக்கு இருக்கும். அதனால்தான் அந்த மாதம் கல்யாணம் போன்ற + பண்டிகைகளோ இருக்காது. ] அனைத்து வகையான தானியங்களும் (நெல், கேழ்வரகு, கம்பு, அவரை, துவரை ) வீடு வந்து சேரும். வீடே கலகலத்து விடும்.
இந்த வருடத்து தானியங்கள் வந்தவுடன் அதற்கு முந்தைய வருட மிச்ச மீதி பழைய தானியங்களை அந்த குதிரிலிருந்து வெளியே எடுத்து விட்டு, அந்த [ஸ்டோர் ஹௌஸ் )_கிடங்கின் தரையில், பூச்சி,வண்டுகள் தாக்காதிருக்க சுவருக்கு வெள்ளையடித்து, பூலாப்பு , ஆவாரம்பூ ,வேப்பிலை போன்றவற்றை அடியில் பரப்பி அதன் மேல் தானியங்களை கொட்டி ஒரு ஜன்னல் போன்ற திட்டிக் கதவை மூடி விடுவர். மாதம் ஒரு முறை வீட்டிற்கு தேவையான தானியத்தை எடுத்துக் கொள்வர்.
இப்படி scientific ஆன ஒரு விஷயத்தை காலப் போக்கில் பழையன கழித்தல் என்ற மாதிரி மாற்றி பழைய டயர் , துணி போன்றவற்றை எரிக்கும் வழக்கமாக
மாற்றி விட்டனர்.
இன்னொரு விஷயமும் சொல்ல வேண்டும். அப்போது பானை, மண் சட்டியில்தான் சமையல். இந்த மண் பாத்திரங்கள் ஒரு வருடத்துக்குதான் உபயோகப் படுத்த வேண்டும். அதே போல் பாய்களும். அதனால், தை மாதம், இவற்றையும் மாற்றுவர்.
இதுவே பழையன '' போக்கி '' . போக்கியே நாளடைவில் ''போகி '' ஆகிவிட்டது.
பொங்கல்:
பொங்கல் வைப்பதிலும் சில காரணங்கள் ...முதலில், பானையில் பாலை ஊற்றி பால் பொங்கி எந்த திசையில் வழிகிறது என்பதை கவனித்து, அதைக் கொண்டு நீரோட்டத்தையும், மண்ணின் பலத்தையும் கணக்கிட்டு, அடுத்த ஆண்டுக்கான விவசாயத்தை திட்டமிடுவார். என் தாத்தா இப்படி செய்வதை நானே பார்த்திருக்கிறேன்.
ஆனால், இப்போது யாருக்காவது இந்த திசையும் கணக்கும் தெரியுமா என்று தெரியவில்லை.

தமிழ் நாட்டின் தலையாய குடும்பத்தை சார்ந்த பெண்மணி " தமிழ் மக்கள் எல்லோரும் தமிழில்தான் பேச வேண்டும் என்று " தமிழ் நாட்டின் பாரம்பரிய உடையான ' சுடிதாரில் ' வந்து மேடையில் வேண்டுகோள் விடுக்கிறார்.

தமிழ் நாட்டின் தமிழ் எங்கே போகிறது என்றே புரியவில்லை...சமைத்து பாருங்கள் நிகழ்ச்சி பாருங்கள்..தமிழ் வார்த்தைகள் மிகவும் குறைவு. 'மேத்தி , கோங்குரா, தனியா, மிர்ச்சி ,யோகர்ட் ' என்று ஒரே கலப்படம். நம் புளிச்சகீரை , வெந்தயக்கீரை, மிளகாய் எல்லாம் மறந்தே போய்விடும் போல் இருக்கிறது.
[ இதற்கெல்லாம் சிகரம் வைத்தார் போல் ''ஆனியன்'' [கொடுமை என்னவென்றால் அதன் சரியான ஆங்கில உச்சரிப்பு அனியன் என்பதே.]
எதற்கு இந்த அரைகுறை ஆங்கில மோகம் ? எனக்கு ரத்த அழுத்தம், டென்சன் எல்லாம் எகிறி விடும்.
கடையிலும் கோங்குரா என்றால்தான் தெரிகிற அளவுக்குத்தான் நிலைமை.
என்னை ஒருவர் கேட்டார் " நீங்கள் இலங்கை தமிழரா ? ''... திகைத்து போன நான் கேட்டேன் " எதனால் அப்படி கேட்கிறீர்கள் ? '' என்றேன் வியப்புடன்.
"இல்லை, இவ்வளவு சுத்தமாக தமிழ் பேசுகிறீர்களே '' என்றார். மயக்கம் வராத குறைதான்..
ஆனால், தமிழில் பேசினால் ஒரு கேவலமான பார்வைதான். இரண்டு வார்த்தையாவது ஆங்கிலத்தில் பேசினால்தான் ஒரு மனுஷியாக கருதி திரும்பி பார்ப்பார்கள். காலத்தின் கோலம்!!!

அபியும் நானும் பற்றி விஜய் டி.வி யில் ஒரு நிகழ்ச்சி பார்த்தேன். அதில், அவர் தன் மகளை பள்ளியில் முதல் முறையாக விடும் பொழுது அழுவதாக கூறினார்.

உடனே என் flash back:
கார்த்திக் 2 1/2 வயது குழந்தையாக இருக்கும்போதே அவனை LKG யில் சேர்த்துவிட்டோம். [ நாங்கள் குடியிருந்தது மின்வாரிய குடியிருப்பு. அங்கிருந்து குழந்தைகள் பள்ளிக்கு செல்லும் நேரம் கார்த்தியின் ரகளை தாங்காது. ' நானும் ஸ்கூலுக்கு போவேன் ' என்று ஒரே அடம். அப்போது அவனுக்கு வயது இரண்டுதான். ஆனால். alphabet, colours, animals, birds.days, months, numbers என்று அத்தனையும் அத்துபடி. என்ன செய்வது?
தப்புதான் என்றாலும் , அவனுக்கு பொய்யான Date of Birth Certificate தயார் செய்து மூன்று வயது என்று சொல்லி பள்ளியில் அட்மிஷன் வாங்கிவிட்டோம்.அப்போது செந்தில் 6 மாத கைக் குழந்தை.
பள்ளியில் முதல் நாள் :

பையில் feeding bottle , பால் etc யுடன் [ அச்சோ, feeding bottle செந்திலுக்கு என்று நினைத்தீர்களா ,உச், அது கார்த்திக்கிற்கு...செந்தில் ஆறு மாத குழந்தையாக இரு்ந்தாலும் டம்ளரில்தான் பால் குடிப்பான். இந்த எல்.கே.ஜி. குழந்தைக்குதான் பாட்டிலில் பால் ] எடுத்துக் கொண்டு, பள்ளிக்கு போனால், ஒரு 100 குழந்தைகள். ஆஹா, என் மகன் என்னை விடுவானா? நானும் வகுப்பறைக்குள் சென்று உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டேன். [அவனுக்காகத்தானே நான Asst.Professor வேலையையே விட்டேன்.].அப்படியிருக்க அவனை பள்ளியில் தனியாக விட்டு செல்வேனா?.... நானும் அவனுடன் ...செந்திலின் உபயம்தான். "பாவம் ,கார்த்திக் அம்மா, கைக்குழந்தையுடன் கஷ்டப்படுகிறார்கள் " என்று ஒரு குரல் கேட்க "பளிச் " என்று ஒரு ஐடியா. " ஆமாம். வீடும் தூரம் " என்று காரணம் சொல்லிவிட்டு கார்த்தியின் வகுப்பிற்குள் ஐக்கியமாகி விட்டேன். அங்கே ஒரு சின்ன ஸ்டூல் இருந்தது. நான் அதில் உட்கார்ந்து கொள்ள , என் மடியில் ஜம்மென்று கார்த்திக். [ ஆஹா, மறுபடியும் செந்தில் என்று நினைத்தீர்களா] அந்த வகுப்பறை எப்படியென்றால், இந்த எல்.கே.ஜி. முதல் 3 மாதத்திற்கு 100 குழந்தைகளும் ஒரே ஹாலில். அப்புரம்தான் தனி தனி க்ளாஸ்ரூம். இது செந்திலுக்கு வசதியாக போய்விட்டது. அவர் பாட்டிற்கு எல்லோரிடமும் விளையாடிக் கொண்டிரு்ப்பார்.]
இந்த அம்மா கோண்டு கார்த்திக் மட்டும் அம்மா மடியில் ..மற்ற எல்லா குழந்தைகளும் அழுவதை இவர் கூலாக வேடிக்கை பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருப்பார். Principal [Sister] மிகவும் கண்டிப்பானவர்தான். ஆனால் என்ன நினைத்தாரோ, மற்ற எல்லா அம்மாக்களையும் வெளியேற்றும் அவர், நான் வகுப்பறைக்குள் இருப்பதை ' கவனிக்காதது ' போல் இருந்து விட்டார்.
இப்படியாகத்தானே , 3 மாதம், நானும் மகனுமாக படித்து, என் செல்லமகன் கார்த்தி மற்ற மாணவர்களுடன் பழகி அவர்களுடன் விளையாட ஆரம்பித்து , அந்த சூழநிலைக்கு முற்றிலும் பழகியபிறகே அவனை தனியே விட்டு வந்தேன்.

From some comments I understand that some find it difficult to read Tamil. So I think i shall give the English version of it too.
Here IT IS.
I happened to view a program on the Movie 'Abiyum Naanum' by Pirakash Raj. During the discussion , he was narrating a scene where he has to leave his daughter in school and how he cried on the first day. [ I have not seen the movie ]. This kindled my flash back.
When karthik was just 2 1/2 years old , we were living in EB quarters , apartment system.where many school going kids lived. When they will be leaving for school, Karthik would start crying ' I want to go to school.' By that age itself, he had learnt alphabet,numbers, dates, days, animals. birds,,,,almost the whole thing that would be taught in LKG.
Unable to appease him we decided to admit him in LKG, though he was underage. Though it was wrong, we managed to get a False Date of Birth Certificate, saying that he was 3 years old, and admitted him in LKG.
Senthil was jyust SIX months old baby then.
First day in school:
I had 'feeding bottle' [ you are wrong if you guessed that it was for senthil.. though Senthil was 6 months old , he used to drink milk in tumbler only..] This feeding bottle, was for my dearest son karthik ,the LKG child.
I reached school to find 100 children crying, hugging to their moms and etc. Slowly I creeped into karthik's classroom, found a stool, sat on it with my child on my lap[ again you are wrong, if you had guessed that it would be Senthil.] Senthil started playing with other children, and it was karthik who sat very comfortably on my lap, watching cooly, while the children were crying horribly.
Its all Senthil's help. Someone observed,'oh, this karthik amma, managing two kids' .FLASH. An idea clicked. Using this trump card , I have strongly settled in karthik's classroom.The Principal,[[ sister] , usually very strict, played a trick of 'not noticing me' (I still wonder what made her be so kind to me ), and so I sat with karthik all through the first three months.By then he became friends with his classmates and got accustomed to the situation.
HOW IS IT ?
I

When Karthik and Senthil were around 6 or 7 years old, there was a practice of exchanging the used ' trousers '....[ drawers ] to the plastic vendor and buy some plastic buckets.

Then I used to wonder what will they do with these 9 or 10 cm lengthy drawers. I guessed that they would sell it in the seconds market.
But now I understand that they donate it to the dancers both in the small and BIG screen.

Don't come out with the question " why it took such a long time to know this ? "

I had TV at home till 1995 and when Karthik entered +1 , I disposed all electronic entertainment gadgets, so that their concentration should be in studies only.

And now I have TV and lots and lots of time with nothing to do but ' ' 'see ' ' ' [ viewing, watching are different from seeing,, and I see only ].
And now when I look at the dances I understand that six , seven years old boys' shorts are really very useful to them.
Simply superb dress sense.

என்ன சொல்ல ?

நாம் இருப்பது 21 ம் நூற்றாண்டா என்ற திகைப்பு ஏற்படுகிறது. இன்னும் இந்த தீண்டாமை கொடுமையா ?எப்போது பார்த்தாலும் ஜாதி சண்டை. கோவிலில் நுழைய தடை. மக்கள் குடும்பத்துடன் மலையில் சென்று குடியேறுதல் !! என்ன இது ???/
நான் 7,8 வயது சிறுமியாக இருக்கும்போதே இந்த கொடுமையை எதிர்த்துள்ளேன்.
எந்த ஜாதியினராக இருந்தால் என்ன, எல்லோரும் மனிதர்கள்தானே எங்கள்வயலில் வேலை செய்யும் அனைவரையும் " அக்கா, அண்ணா " என்ற உறவு முறையில்தான் அழைப்பேன்...அவர்கள் நெகிழ்ந்து விடுவார்கள்.
**** நான் பள்ளியில் ஆசிரியையாக வேலைக்கு சேர்ந்தபோது ' வேலன் ' என்ற ப்யூன் [ office assistant ] இருந்தார்.அவரை யாரும் பெயர் சொல்லியே கூப்பிட்டதில்லை. "டேய் " etc.தான்.
..........நானோ " வேலண்ணா " என்றுதான் அழைப்பேன். ஒரு நாள் வீட்டிற்கு வந்த அவர் " அம்மா, நீங்க்ள் வந்த பிறகுதான், பள்ளியில் என்னை ஒரு மனிதனாக பார்க்கிறார்கள்.இது வரை ஒரு நாயை அழைப்பது போல், 'ஏய், டேய் ' என்று அழைத்தவர்கள் இப்போதுதான் பெயர் சொல்லி கூப்பிடுகிறார்கள் " என்று கண் கலங்கிவிட்டார்.
யாராயிருந்தாலும் வீட்டிற்குள் அமர வைத்துதான் சாப்பாடு போடுவேன். [கொடுமை என்னவென்றால், அவர்கள் வெளியில் நின்று தேங்காய் மூடியில் அல்லது நெல் அளக்கும் "படி " [a vessel ,this present generation may not have even seen that ] யில்தான் பழையதை கரைத்து கொடுப்பார்கள். அந்த படியில்தான் நெல் , அரிசி அளப்பார்கள்.அப்போது 'தீட்டு ' கிடையாதா? என்று இந்த சிறுமிக்கு ஆச்சரியமாக இருக்கும்.
எனக்கு திருமணமான பின் , [மாமியார் வீடு பயங்கர பட்டிக்காடு.].
அங்கே போனால், ???? சினிமாவில் பார்ப்பது போல் இருக்கும். நானோ வழக்கம்போல் எல்லோரையும் "அண்ணா ".
அந்த கிராமத்திலிருந்து வருபவர்களுக்கும் வீட்டில்தான் சாப்பாடு. என் 'சக சகோதரி' [ ஓர்ப்படி, co-sister ] " கலா, மாமியாருக்கு தெரிந்தால் உன்னை வீட்டிற்குள்ளேயே விட மாட்டார்கள் " என்று எச்சரிக்கை மணி. அப்படியும் நான் 'திருந்தவில்லை '!' ..இது மாமியாருக்கு தெரியவர
" கலா , இது நம் சாமிக்கு ஆகாது, சாமி குத்தம் " என்று மிரட்டினார்கள்.
இது உண்மையிலேயே சாமி [ அப்படி என்று ஒன்று இருந்தால் ] , இது சாமி குத்தமா ? அதனால்தான் எனக்கு இவ்வளவு பெரிய இழப்புகளா ? எனக்கு வந்த இந்த இழப்புகள் எல்லாம் அவர்களுக்கு வெற்றிக் கொண்டாட்டமாக ஆகிவிட்டது. ' ஆடினாள் பார். இன்று அனுபவிக்கிறாள் பார் ' என்று கொக்கரிப்பு வேறு.

சாமிக்கு என் மனித நேயம் புரியவில்லையா ? சாமியும் உயர் ஜாதிக்குதானா? சாமிக்கும் தீண்டாமை உண்டா ?

இது தண்டனையாகவே இருந்தாலும், இன்றும் நான் மாறவில்லை. இன்றும் அவர்கள் என் சக மனிதர்களே, என் உடன் பிறப்புகளே.
ஆனாலும், இழப்பு என்னை மிகவும் நோகடித்து விட்டது. மனம் கந்தலாக நைந்து விட்டது. கார்த்தி வருவானா, கதவை தட்டுவானா என்று கண்களும், காதுகளும் ஏங்கி செயலிளந்து விட்டன.

சன்தீப் உண்ணிகிருஷ்ணனின் அருகில் அவருடைய தாயை பார்த்தபோது ,,,, நானும் அப்படித்தான் என் மகனுடன் பேசினேன்." கார்த்தி போகாதே, நீ வாழ பிறந்தவன், நீ வாழ வேண்டும் ,,போகாதே என் மகனே" என்றுதான் அவனிடம் பேசினேன். Just replace myself and Karthik there.. கத்தவில்லை,,, கதறவில்லை..ஆடவில்லை,,ஆர்ப்பரிக்கவில்லை. உடற்கூறு சோதனைக்கு அவனை கூட்டி சென்றபிறகு, வெளியில் உட்கார்ந்திருந்த அந்த ஒவ்வொரு மணித்துளியும் மனம் கதறிக் கொண்டேயிருந்தது. "கார்த்தி , எழுந்துவிடு, எழுந்துவிடு" என்று. ஆனால், சினிமாவில்தான் இதெல்லாம் நடக்கும். அந்த வீரனின் தாயின் அழுகை எல்லோர் மனதிலும் ஒரு வகையான தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியது என்றால், என் மனதில் அது வேறு வகையான தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியது.

என் கணவரின் இழப்பின் போது நானும் அதே போல் " போங்கடா நாய்களா" என்றேதான் கத்தினேன். இத்தனை நாட்கள் நான் over ஆக react செய்து விட்டோமா என்று தோன்றியதுண்டு. ஆனால், ஒருவரின் இழப்பை, இன்னொருவர் தன் சுய நலத்திற்கும், பகட்டுக்கும் பணத்துக்கும் பயன்படுத்தினால், இது போன்ற கோபம்தான் வரும், அது சரிதான் என்று இன்று மனம் தெளிந்து விட்டது

I may be one in 100 billion to submit my humble regards to the great heroes.
But more than them , the real heroes are those who have lost their dearest and behaved the 'best and the most courageous.

Yes, I mean the wife of Karkere who refused the one crore and gave a good lesson to the dirty politicians who would like to seek cheap popularity and mint money using this opportunity. Are we all politicians who would grab any dirty money coming by any dirty route.

2) This is from my own life. Though extremely sad to explain this I would like to tell this. I (karthik's mother), was offered some sort of pension. But i sent a message saying, 'till now i don't accept that my karthik is not with me. If I accept this pension that would mean that I acknowledge his d****, which I am not ready to do in any situation and circumstance.

What follows is an episode from my life. In 1971 the India pakistan war broke out. I was some 11 or 12 years old and my younger brother was 10 years old. We two underwent a fasting 'demanding ' permission from our mother to go and join army and sacrifice our lives for our country. Like the scenes in the movie ,Inaintha Kaikal , which came much later, we had dreams of going all alone to the war front and kill all the pakistanis!!!!!. ...Dear Sandeep joined the forces with the sole intention of saving our dear country. Never mind if it costs the dearest life. Exactly. my mind set up is also the same. I will die happily in the war to save my country. Even now , at the age of 50, I am ready to join the army. 1971 or 2008. No difference. Don't come digging saying 'mentally still I am 11 years old' .I am happy to accept it.

For so long I have been fuming over this practice of giving Z security to some VIP s. How much does it cost to the exchequer is something to be negotiated.

The next most important issue is, or the 100 billion dollar question is , DO WE NOT HAVE EQUALLY [ rather More ] CAPABLE " EXECUTIVES " [ erase the word 'Leader' , which is quite loathsome and nauseating in the present scenario ] to manage [ once again delete the OBSOLETE word "RULE " ] the country, Our GREAT INDIA.
There are lakhs and lakhs of 'youngies' in our country with more vigour, fire, intelligence, selflessness, and managing and conducting our country in a progressive route. Fire these 'OLDIES ' out .
Once [in 1990s when I was teaching in a class I told my students ' Make me the CM for just one day with all powers and see how much I change the whole thing.'....My students burst in to laughter and said " The next day the population will be half, because you would shoot the corrupt, the culprits etc '".Ironically, soon this movie 'Muthalvan ' was released and my students in a way felt elated and a sense of satisfaction [ because all of my students wished that corruption and all such non-sense should be eradicated. And when our hands are tied ,?] so they felt so happy about that movie.
And now i say this. Give this country to them. What if one BJP head or a PM or a CM or a would be CM die ? There are hundreds to take the charge and do better. So call back this "z" security.All are Indian citizens. All need protection.
As I have already written in a request to the so called terrorists kill those who are directly connected with you.PLEASE stop killing innocent people.
