GAIL and TN farmers:
There are so many doubts .I don't understand so many things.
First
Is the land taken by GAIL without the consent of the farmers?
Has it not signed any agreement with the farmers?
Were the farmers so ignorant about this project ?
Don't the land owners have any right over the land ,can't they say NO?
Or, that they have sold the land at a low cast and realizing this fact at a later stage after signing the agreement and now protesting?
AND the BIGGEST doubt is ( as far as my geographical knowledge goes )the route via Karnataka will be shorter than going through Tamilnadu.
If so why this route?
Tamilnadu people allow every project to be carried on and only at the finishing stage WE start protesting like the Koodankulam project.
Can anyone clear my doubts?
