SOME REFLECTIONS

I have been thinking of writing about this sensitive concept for a long time.This posting ..........http://tvpravi.blogspot.com/2006/12/blog-post_20.html#c116663201399877893 ....has driven me to post this essay which i have essayed with no intention of offending anybody but just as an eye opener.When i was some ten years old,we bought our car.We lived in an apartment. There another family ,with a son of my age and a daughter ,may be 6 years old,lived.Seeing our car that girl asked her father "we should also buy one car".Her father immediately replied,"o.k..no problem.Which color do you like to have?".She was very happy and was expecting a car to arrive at her door step any minute.The fact is that her father was not affluent enough to buy a car,and he was working on a third grade post,drawing a low salary.An argument about this started.One argument was that that her fathermust have told her that "I am not well educated and I am not working as an officer and I am not highly paid. I can not afford to buy a car.See because I did not study well,I am not able to get a good job and I am not in a position to buy a car.So if you study well you can earn a lot and you can buy a bigger car"...the second argument was "oh!that girl would have felt disappointed and felt sad if her father had told her the truth".my point is,after a time , say a month or two , that girl would have learnt the truth and she might have started hating her father for having deceived her,and ,later she developed a mentality that somehow she should become rich.
And this Girl, [woman] wants to continue her studies.Right.Nothing wrong if her father is capable of paying the fees.It would have been a mammoth task for him to make her M.Sc.He has a son who is working in a mechanical shop,and a daughter who is doing I.T.I.If this girl is good enough she should have started working and must have helped her poor father.B.Ed can be studied at a later time .Attempting suicide shows that she is utterly selfish.My grievance is that Nila had been victimised as if she had done a massacre.Any coin has two sides.Her point is most ponderable.
I welcome your ideas,whether to encourage this practice or take some other remedial measures?
